ESSENTIAL ROUTES03

Bayani Mode basics

Yasmine's central mechanic.

Main ways to gain Bayani

Hit with Daloy ng Tubig > Alon, Talim ng Hangin, or SA1.

During Bayani Mode

Regular Alon becomes enhanced Alon.

Finishing regular Alon outside Bayani Mode is approximately -12F on block.

In Bayani Mode, enhanced L Alon is approximately -1F on block.

Enhanced M Alon: approximately -2F.

Enhanced H Alon: approximately -3F.

Enhanced OD Alon: approximately -1F.

Enhanced Alon generally consumes Bayani when it hits or is blocked.

However, OD Alon can restore Bayani on hit.

SA2 keeps Bayani active for approximately 25 seconds.

Basic game plan

Hit with Alon > gain Bayani > use enhanced Alon > high damage on hit and safety on block > gain Bayani again.

ESSENTIAL ROUTES13

Pangil sa Likuran

A boomerang projectile performed with 22P.

Regular version: 1 hit outward and 1 hit on return.

OD version: 2 hits on return.

animation > 50F

The returning hit launches the opponent, allowing pickups such as DR cr.MP.

corner basic

Use the returning projectile to continue pressure.

Chip-pressure example

st.HP > H Pangil sa Likuran > cr.MP > L Daloy ng Tubig > returning hit > cr.HP > L Daloy ng Tubig > enhanced Alon

Research examples remove approximately 2 Drive bars.

ESSENTIAL ROUTES15

Mukha ng Langit: same-side/cross-up mix-up

Mukha ng Langit = 236K

P follow-up, Ulan: cross-up.

K follow-up, Kulog: same side.

Ulan

COMBO ROUTES16

SA1

SA1 Hiwa ng Kalangitan

startup 7F

On hit, gain Bayani.

After a hit > +24F approximately

When to use it

SA1 is valuable for more than damage:

Land SA1 to activate Bayani Mode.

That resource gain is important.

COMBO ROUTES17

SA2 Nakatagong Lakas

Total activation duration: approximately 10F.

While active

Bayani remains active, and the exclusive move Linya ng Liwanag becomes available.

Duration: approximately 1500F, or 25 seconds.

Using enhanced moves consumes remaining time.

OD Alon during SA2

Hard knockdown at +47F, with more damage than outside SA2.

COMBO ROUTES18

Basic SA2 combo

cr.LP > OD Daloy ng Tubig > Alon > SA2 > H Talim ng Hangin > st.HP > H Lipad ng Agila

Alternative option

> OD Daloy ng Tubig > [Boosted]Alon

Continue into SA2 wake-up pressure.

SETPLAY19

SA2 +47 Setplay

SA2 during

OD Daloy ng Tubig > enhanced Alon > hard knockdown at +47F

forward dash 19F > 28F

cr.LP whiff x2 > +4F

From there:

• throw • shimmy • cr.LK

COMBO ROUTES20

SA2 Linya ng Liwanag side mix-up

Linya ng Liwanag is available only during SA2.

Whiff the 1st hit and make only the 2nd hit meaty.

This creates a cross-up situation.

Normally around -3 on block, it can gain advantage with late-active timing:

+1…+5F

Setplay research includes ways to create this advantage.

COMBO ROUTES21

SA3

SA3

startup 10F

hit after > +42F

The opponent lands far away, so this differs from a typical +42 safe-jump situation.

Options for this version

SA3 > forward dash > DR cr.MP

CA

+20F with improved spacing afterward.

Forward dash (19F) > +1F > near throw range

ESSENTIAL ROUTES22

Against an opponent in Burnout

Strong pressure sequence

cr.LP > cr.MP > M Talim ng Hangin

Extra blockstun in Burnout makes this sequence harder to interrupt.

Then

Alon during Bayani Mode

Even outside Burnout, it is approximately -1 to -3 on block.

Burnout's added blockstun can turn that into advantage.

SA2 plus Alon also deals substantial Drive chip.

7. DR 6MP > cr.MP > OD Talim ng Hangin > st.HP > H Lipad ng Agila

8. H Daloy ng Tubig > Alon > +44F > two forward dashes > +6F

9. Enhanced L Alon > +42F > safe jump

10. corner

H Lipad ng Agila > cr.LP whiff > cr.MP active frames

ESSENTIAL ROUTES24

Current Game Plan

Make contact with cr.MP, cr.MK, H Talim ng Hangin, or Pangil sa Likuran > Daloy ng Tubig > Alon > gain Bayani > use enhanced Daloy ng Tubig / Alon > convert hits into high damage and +42 safe jumps.

Regular H Alon > +44 > two forward dashes > throw / cr.MP / cr.LK / shimmy > corner > place Pangil sa Likuran > throw or punish a throw tech > SA2 > sustained Bayani > Linya ng Liwanag side mix-ups > damage or a round-ending combo.

Notes on the source material

At the source guide's reference date, Yasmine had been available for about 1 month. Some first-week articles contained untested claims or errors.

OD Talim ng Hangin

Early articles sometimes list 18F.

Late-August material uses 20F.

Mukha ng Langit follow-ups

Some early hands-on articles reverse the follow-up descriptions.

Material reflecting the official data used here lists:

Ulan (P): cross-up.

Kulog (K): same side.

Setplay frame advantage

Values such as +30, +42, and +44 include player measurements.

The source guide prioritizes values that agree across multiple studies of the same version.

Pangil sa Likuran's returning hit, airborne contact, character size, and spacing

can cause differences of approximately 1F.
