M. Bison’s offensive routes change when a Psycho Mine is attached. Double Knee Press controls a different kind of space from a Backfist conversion, and mine-dependent follow-ups add another decision. Start by recognizing the mine state and the distance of your approach before learning extended pressure.
Learn the distance at which your chosen Knee Press version contacts the defender, then keep a confirmed route into Backfist Combo ready. After a mine-setting finish, choose from the matching follow-ups. Near the corner, reproduce the specific Backfist knockdown before applying its close pressure.
Test the strengths at different distances and inspect the matching frame entries. Avoid assigning one block result to the move as a whole.
Learn its role in the mine plan and distinguish the finish with a mine already attached from the initial setup.
The move list separates mine-state versions. Keep that condition visible when practicing a related combo.
Repeat a single version from close and farther starts, checking contact and recovery rather than only the animation.
Practice a Backfist route without a mine, then the listed extension with one. Reset the opponent’s state intentionally.
Use the guide’s heavy Backfist corner setup and its dash into back-heavy-kick timing before adding other branches.
Adapted from SF6 Lab’s Japanese character notes and combo / setplay guides. The practice routes use Classic inputs; consult the linked guides for full conditions and current numerical data.
M. Bison practice distinguishes Backfist Combo routes leading into Psycho Mine situations from Psycho Crusher enders. Mine-dependent sequences have different conditions from ordinary routes.
Continuing offense after a conversion is a strength.
Start with light attacks into light Backfist Combo. Then practise standing MP into crouching MP, OD Double Knee Press, and heavy Backfist Combo.
Separate midscreen Drive Rush from corner dash follow-ups after heavy Backfist Combo. Check that a mine is attached before choosing pressure that depends on detonating it.
These practice notes follow the published guide and combo material. Check the combo page for route conditions and the frame table for move values.
