Kimberly aims to turn a grounded opening into corner carry, then use a Shuriken Bomb setup to make the next defense difficult. Sprint branches give her several offensive choices, but the starting goal is simpler: complete a reliable Shadow Slide route and recognize whether it reached the corner.
Build around crouching medium punch confirms, the medium-punch target combo and standing medium kick Drive Rush. Select Shadow Slide when carry is the priority. At the corner, use one documented bomb setup rather than improvising placement while the opponent is free to act.
Use it as the stable middle of a route into Sprint and Shadow Slide before adding more demanding run-stop conversions.
Learn how to stop as well as how to attack. Distinguish Shadow Slide, Neck Hunter and a stopped run in your input practice.
Check stock before choosing the corner route. Use the current combo guide’s placement sequence rather than older refill assumptions.
Repeat the crouching medium punch into target-combo and Shadow Slide route from several screen positions.
Alternate a Sprint attack with Emergency Stop on purpose, so stopping is a learned choice rather than an execution accident.
Start with the exact corner finish listed in the guide, place the bomb and test the follow-up against guard and a wake-up attack.
Adapted from SF6 Lab’s Japanese character notes and combo / setplay guides. The practice routes use Classic inputs; consult the linked guides for full conditions and current numerical data.
For Kimberly, separate ordinary conversions from spray-can setups: learn the run-slide carry first, then study how it leads into corner spray-can pressure.
Corner wake-up pressure using spray cans is a strength.
Restocking spray cans takes time, so check your supply before choosing a setup.
Start with the MP–HP target combo and crouching MP starters. Practise the run’s low, overhead, and stop options separately from combos on hit.
Check screen position and whether a spray-can setup is available. Use the combo table to distinguish carry routes from the other listed finishers.
These practice notes follow the published guide and combo material. Check the combo page for route conditions and the frame table for move values.
