Lily’s first gameplan can be organized around obtaining Wind, approaching with the appropriate Condor Spire and making a close strike/command-throw decision. The resource state is part of the move: practicing only Windclad approaches gives an incomplete picture of how she plays.
Contest the ground with standing medium punch while finding an appropriate chance to build Wind. Approach with a Spire version whose travel you have practiced. Once close, recognize the defender’s response before choosing a strike or Mexican Typhoon; if stock is missing, return to the unstocked plan.
Distinguish the stock-building use from the attacking version in the move list. Practice the input and watch the Wind display.
Compare ordinary, Windclad and OD versions at the same starting distance. Travel and resource conditions belong in your setup notes.
Learn the grab input without an unintended jump, then check the distance after the Spire approach you intend to use.
Alternate an empty Wind display with a stocked one. Choose the appropriate Spire route instead of leaving training resources permanently full.
Learn one of the guide’s light-attack conversions and return to it when the opponent challenges your close offense.
After a documented Windclad approach, test a strike and command throw against guard and jump recordings. Include a version where you wait.
Adapted from SF6 Lab’s Japanese character notes and combo / setplay guides. The practice routes use Classic inputs; consult the linked guides for full conditions and current numerical data.
Lily practice separates wind-building routes from pressure using wind-enhanced Condor Spire. Check wind availability before selecting a route.
Wind-enhanced approaches lead into her strike-and-throw game.
Her fastest light has limited reach; do not use it as though it reaches as far as her longer lights.
Start with crouching LK into crouching LP and Tomahawk Buster. Then practise building wind with crouching HP into Condor Wind.
These practice notes follow the published guide and combo material. Check the combo page for route conditions and the frame table for move values.
