Ed’s reach and Psycho Flicker help him contest space before moving into a boxing-range conversion. Charged Flicker and Kill Rush add decisions about timing and distance. A practical starting goal is to recognize a grounded Psycho Blitz finish and know how its follow-up differs from an airborne juggle.
Work around Flicker reach, vary the decision to charge and move into a close confirm when the opening appears. Learn the Kill Rush follow-up after a grounded heavy Blitz finish first. Treat the airborne target-combo and safe-jump routes as separate setups with their own prerequisites.
Compare release timing and the charged version. Use the current move entry to check the resulting distance rather than relying on an older pull-in setup.
Keep a simple route into it as your first conversion. Notice whether the opponent is grounded or airborne when the finish connects.
Practice the movement and its follow-up inputs separately before attaching them to the grounded Blitz knockdown.
Try ordinary and charged Flicker from several distances, watching where both characters finish rather than just whether the attack hits.
Use the guide’s heavy Blitz finish, then rehearse its Kill Rush approach against a guarding opponent.
Recreate the listed airborne Blitz route and its target-combo finish from scratch before attempting the corresponding jump timing.
Adapted from SF6 Lab’s Japanese character notes and combo / setplay guides. The practice routes use Classic inputs; consult the linked guides for full conditions and current numerical data.
Ed practice builds from Psycho Blitz enders to Flicker extensions. Treat grounded Blitz knockdowns separately from other enders when learning wake-up pressure.
Reach on tools such as Flicker is a strength.
Anti-air consistency is a concern; practise responses to jumps separately.
Prioritise crouching LP into standing LP and medium Blitz, plus standing MP into crouching LK and medium Blitz. Then add the standing MP–HP route into heavy Blitz.
Practise Kill Rush after heavy Blitz separately from corner Spark setups. Stabilise the next action after a normal ender before learning the SA2 follow-ups.
These practice notes follow the published guide and combo material. Check the combo page for route conditions and the frame table for move values.
