PLAYING YASMINE

Character overview

Yasmine combines projectile-supported movement with changes to her aerial approach and Bayani-dependent routing. Her entry plan becomes easier to manage when you first learn one ordinary confirm, then separate the Alon follow-up and boosted-resource conditions instead of treating them as a single automatic combo.

Strengths

  • The Japanese assessment connects her projectile with Drive Rush strike, low and throw choices, giving the approach a clear offensive purpose.
  • Different aerial paths can vary how she approaches a defender who is already watching the ground.

Weaknesses

  • The assessment notes that a straightforward ground-only exchange takes work. Repeating an uncovered approach does not replace using her projectile and movement together.
  • Bayani and other resource conditions add routing decisions. A setup learned with resources enabled may not fit the next round-start situation.

Best range / preferred gameplan

Prepare the approach with the projectile instead of entering on a fixed rhythm. Once close, use the listed Drive Rush grounded choices and convert a hit into a known Daloy ng Tubig/Alon finish. Check Bayani state before selecting the extension, then follow the exact knockdown sequence you practiced.

Key tools to learn first

Daloy ng Tubig and Alon

Learn the follow-up input and distinguish ordinary from boosted conditions in the current move list.

Talim ng Hangin and Mukha ng Langit branches

Practice one aerial variation at a time and check where it lands. A changed path still needs a grounded plan afterward.

Drive Rush crouching medium punch

The Japanese assessment identifies this as an important close-pressure tool. Connect it to the confirmed route you learned rather than extending by habit.

Beginner practice order

  1. Keep the ordinary conversion stable

Start with the guide’s basic route and ordinary resource settings, checking the Alon follow-up input on both sides.

  2. Test the knockdown sequence

Reproduce the listed heavy Daloy/Alon finish and double-dash approach, then compare the crouching-medium-punch and throw choices.

  3. Add Bayani deliberately

Enable the required state for one boosted route, then reset and practice recognizing when the ordinary route is needed instead.

Common mistakes

  • Using the boosted Alon extension without checking the state that enables it.
  • Changing the aerial path repeatedly while leaving the landing distance and next grounded action unplanned.

COMBO PRACTICE NOTES

YASMINE: choosing and practising your routes

Strength to build around

Heavy Talim and Ulan offer different approach trajectories.

Limitation to plan for

Stocks change combo and wake-up-pressure choices, adding resource-management decisions.

What to learn first

Start with lights into medium Daloy and Alon, then crouching MP into heavy Daloy and Alon. Add the OD Talim extension into standing HP and heavy Lipad ng Agila afterwards.

These practice notes follow the published guide and combo material. Check the combo page for route conditions and the frame table for move values.
