Akuma combines grounded fireballs, aerial variation and strong conversions, but his lower health makes failed risks expensive. The useful beginner version is disciplined: control the ground, convert a clear opening and use the knockdown you earned before adding Demon Raid and air-fireball variations.
Establish Gou Hadoken and grounded movement first. Use crouching medium kick Drive Rush or a punish to earn a conversion, then apply the matching knockdown sequence. Add Zanku Hadoken or Demon Raid to vary an established pattern rather than making airborne approaches the whole plan.
Learn a consistent grounded projectile rhythm that still leaves attention for a jump. Distinguish its versions when reading the move list.
The guide provides a grounded heavy-version knockdown sequence. Learn that finish and the listed timing action together.
Practice the intended branch and landing position in isolation before using it to vary your offense.
Alternate a ground approach and a jump recording while practicing your fireball and anti-air decisions.
Reproduce the grounded finish and its medium-kick timing action, then test strike and throw choices against guard.
Pick a single Demon Raid branch, check where it lands and compare it with staying grounded from the same starting position.
