From Swiss qualifying to a seven-player final bracket

The September 12, 2026 online event used Swiss qualifying followed by a seven-player single-elimination final bracket. The announcement specified up to eight first-to-two Swiss rounds, with fewer rounds possible for a smaller field. The top seven advanced using the announced opponent-based ranking calculation. The qualifying leader received a semifinal bye, while the other six played the opening round.

The championship and third-place matches in the final bracket establish the three placements listed here. The announcement called for a first-to-three championship match and first-to-two earlier matches, while the current championship bracket shows 2–0. We distinguish the announced rules from the displayed result and do not infer an actual game count or an undocumented format change.

Advertised capacity, current limit and phase displays

The announcement advertises up to 256 entrants; the current Tonamel limit is 64. The results-phase panels display 20 / 64 for qualifying and 7 / 7 for the finals, as checked on September 25, 2026. These are separately identified interface values. Neither 256 nor 64 is an attendance total, and the qualifying display is not treated as an independently verified count accounting for check-ins and withdrawals.
